Dr Nield has been involved with providing ongoing medical education for the past number of years, even when she is not in Haiti. Dr Nield has been volunteering with an incredible organization called the Haitian Medical Education Project (HMEP)
Dr Nield is a regular lecturer for this amazing organization. Every few months, Dr Nield will give an online lecture via a video conferencing system set up by the HMEP.It takes hours of prep work to put together a powerpoint lecture that will be useful for the doctors in Haiti. She recently gave a talk on Neurofibromatosis, using case studies from patients she has treated while in Haiti.
